Job Description
Seeking Exceptional Caregivers in the Western North Carolina Area
Do you have a passion for helping others?
CAREGIVER REFERRAL REQUIREMENTS
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Companionship and conversational engagement with clients
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Complete a criminal background check
Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
Griswold Home Care refers caregivers who have these minimum qualifications:
* Compassionate provider of personal care, homemaking and companion services
* 2+ years of experience caring for elderly individuals with excellent transfer skills
* Background Record Check
* A minimum of 6 recent references (3 personal and 3 professional)
* Cleared Fitness to work and 2-step PPD test
* A valid driver's license and driving record
Clients for the Western NC office are interested in all of the following: Certified Nursing Assistants, PCA or HHA, Companions and Homemakers.
