What does a Best Buy Home Delivery Helper do?

A Best Buy Home Delivery Helper assists the driver in delivering and installing products to customers' homes in areas not serviced by a Best Buy distribution warehouse. They follow established schedules and procedures for home delivery of major appliances, TVs and other large consumer electronic products. As a delivery helper for Best Buy, you will provide customers with a level of service that ensures no customer is ever left unserved or underserved. You will create a customer experience that builds a lasting relationship and ensures Best Buy continues to be a brand of choice.
70 of your time you will:
:Deliver new products and remove old products from customer homes.
:Check for product connections in home, ensure functionality and instruct customers on use of products.
:Complete delivery paperwork.
30 of your time you will:
:Properly load and secure items on delivery truck to prevent damage during shipping.
:Help driver with directions, phone duties and map reading between deliveries.
What are the Professional Requirements of a Best Buy Home Delivery Helper?
Basic Requirements:
:3 months job related experience
:Lift or maneuver 75 lb. with or without reasonable accommodation and team lift up to 150 lb.
Preferred Requirements:
:High school diploma or equivalent
